Nisan 15/16 and He Was Raised Up

April 5, 2015

_ccrl He Was Raised Up

The next day, which was after the Preparation, the chief priests and the Pharisees gathered together before Pilate, saying: “Sir, we recall what that impostor said while he was still alive, ‘After three days I am to be raised up.’ Therefore, command that the grave be made secure until the third day, so that his disciples may not come and steal him and say to the people, ‘He was raised up from the dead!’ Then this last deception will be worse than the first.” Pilate said to them: “You may have a guard. Go make it as secure as you know how.” So they went and made the grave secure by sealing the stone and posting a guard.

Matthew 27:62-66

And look! a great earthquake had taken place, for Jehovah’s angel had descended from heaven and had come and rolled away the stone, and he was sitting on it. His appearance was like lightning, and his clothing was as white as snow. Yes, out of their fear of him, the watchmen trembled and became as dead men.

Matthew 28:2-4

The chief priests and the Pharisees make Jesus’ grave secure by rolling a big stone in front of the tomb and posting Roman soldiers as guards. But early on the morning following the Sabbath, the guards are gone and the tomb is empty. Jesus is alive!

For 40 days after his resurrection, Jesus shows himself alive to his disciples and he continues to instruct them about the work he wants them to continue, preaching and teaching the good news of God’s Kingdom. (Matt 24:14; 28:19,20) In obedience and appreciation for what Jehovah and Jesus have done to make a personal relationship with God possible, and to have the hope of living forever in Paradise under God’s kingdom, we want to strive to keep doing what Jesus asked. We invite all to learn more about the wonderful things in God’s Word, the Bible.

Thank you, thank you, thank you for the alternate download site!!! I have been able to download from this site!! I have used your tutorial about which button to press on in 4shared with no luck, but, I have not tried to use a different browser, so, I’m off to try that now, for the ones I’ve missed – thank you for the suggestion. I’d have never thought of that myself in a million years. I love these beautiful butterflies and every one of your cards and elements are gorgeous! I appreciate your hard work and talent and I am very, very grateful for your generosity & kindness! Thank you so much!

This has been a lovely series. Thanks so much for sharing. Also, thank you for the alternate link, I just can’t get 4shared to come up for me. This is true for any place that uses 4shared.

I’m glad you’ve been able to download from Box, Priscilla. Have you tried using a different browser for 4shared? And have you seen my little tutorial about which download button to press on 4shared HERE? Maybe that will help. The problem with uploading to Box is that the download limit is reached very quickly sometimes, so 4shared still has its uses!
