Happy Who Endure: 4.5″x5.5″

November 4, 2014

Look! We consider happy those who have endured.

You have heard of the endurance of Job

and have seen the outcome Jehovah gave,

that Jehovah is very tender in affection and merciful.

James 5:11

Have you “heard of the endurance of Job”? Job’s name is a familiar one to many people, even if they haven’t read the account in the Bible for themselves. But it’s well worth your while taking a little time to do so. Why? One reason is that it’s always best to check an original information source for ourselves instead of relying on other people’s opinions or interpretations, especially when a matter has importance for us personally.

Is the account of Job important to us personally? Yes! Over the next few posts I’ll introduce the two main reasons why. In the meantime, if you’d like to read about Job and see the scriptural references, please visit JW.ORG  HERE. Scroll down to the sub-heading, “Satan’s Challenge” in paragraph 6, where you can read and/or listen to this section of the “What Does the Bible Really Teach” book. You can visit THIS PAGE to read and/or listen to the account directly from the Bible.
