Exercise Faith: 148x148mm

August 30, 2010

“He that exercises faith in the Son has everlasting life.”

John 3: 36

By means of the Ransom, we can have the forgiveness of our sins, a clean conscience before God and the hope of living forever in a paradise earth. How can we show our appreciation for this priceless gift?

One way is by getting to know the gift giver. Taking in knowledge of  Jehovah and Jesus by a study of the Bible is the first step. (John 17:3)

Another important way is by attending the Memorial, the annual observance of the Lord’s Evening Meal. (Matthew 26:26-28)

And as the scripture above says, by exercising faith in Jesus. The Bible shows that this faith is not shown by words alone, (James 2:26) but is proved by our life course. We can show that we are exercising faith in Jesus by doing our utmost to imitate him in our actions.
