WordArt: When Under Trial

September 5, 2009

Display

“When under trial, let no one say: ” I am being tried by God.”

For with evil things God cannot be tried nor does he himself try anyone.”

James 1:13

(God is never the source of the wickedness you see in the world around you. Granted, he does allow bad things to happen.

But there is a big difference between allowing something to happen and causing it.)

This card is designed in A5 (A6 folded) size. Because the scripture is quite long, the other half of it is on the inside, as a decorated inner. You can print this directly on the inside of the card or, if you prefer, print it separately as an insert. Use good quality paper and cut the inner slightly smaller than your outer card. Adhere with glue stick, which allows a little repositioning so you can get a perfectly centered end-product. I test printed this design both on cream and on white card. The cream is softer, the white more striking. I think I will also try this printed on an A6 white card and matted onto a deep pink card blank.
